White Noise blitzes opposition in ORCV’s 49th King Island Race

Daniel Edwards’ White Noise has blitzed the field in the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria’s 49th Melbourne to King Island Yacht Race, taking out AMS, IRC, PHS and ORCi categories, while Paul Buchholz’s Extasea took line honours after settling into the race when the southerly eased in Bass Strait, giving all a nice ride to the finish. Winners take home King Island delights including crayfish.

SAIL SANDY DEFERRED TO 20-21 FEBRUARY 2021

With Sail Sandy unable to proceed in the usual October time slot due to Victorian COVID-19 restrictions, the organising committee of Sail Sandy has deferred SYC's annual Sail Sandy Regatta to Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 February 2021. No doubt with a beautiful weekend of February weather in Melbourne, we'll see a stunning to days of sailing at SYC.
