Notice of AGM and Call for Nominations

The Yachting ACT AGM will be held on Wednesday 27th July 2022 at 5pm
at the YMCA of Canberra Sailing Club, 35 Alexandrina Drive YARRALUMLA 2600 ACT

Yachting ACT s calling for nominations from Current Active Members of the Sailing Clubs affiliated with Yachting ACT for the following positions:
•    President 
•    Senior Vice-President 
•    Vice-President 
•    Secretary  
•    Treasurer

Nominations must be received by 5pm on the 11th July.

Note: Each nomination requires a Proposer and Seconder who are Current Active Members of a Sailing Club affiliated with Yachting ACT.

The affiliated Clubs are:
•    Canberra Ocean Racing Club
•    Canberra Yacht Club
•    YMCA of Canberra Sailing Club

Some of the key Objectives of Yachting ACT are:
•    To encourage, promote and support sailing in the ACT
•    To facilitate cooperation among member clubs and other organisations involved with sailing, the coordination of sail racing within the ACT and the resolution of conflict between sailors and other lake users
•    To represent ACT sailing clubs as a Member Yachting Association of Australian Sailing and as the peak body for sailing within the ACT in dealings with governments and other organisations
