Woollahra Sailing Club - based at Rose Bay foreshore are seeking passionate and experienced Sailing Instructors (Dinghies) to join us for the busy summer season (and beyond)
These casual roles are predominatly weekend and afternoon shifts, offering you the opportunity to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of sailors in our Tacker program, Optimist Academy, Adult learn to sail and/or windsurfing.
What you'll be doing
- Provide high-quality sailing instruction to students ranging from beginners (learn to sail), through intermediate (learn to race) on the eautiful Sydney Harbour
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all participants
- Maintain and care for the sailing equipment and facilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of sailing programs and events
- Contribute to the overall growth and development of our sailing community
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a sailing instructor, preferably in a dinghy sailing environment
- Strong knowledge of sailing techniques and racing
- Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills to encourage students
- Motor boat license
- Current First Aid certificate
- Relevant sailing qualifications or certifications
- current working with children check

- Expected start date for role: 26 October 2024
- Expected salary: $30 - $45 per hour
