Weta Nationals at Speers Point January 2025

Over 30 Wetas from NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania are expected at the 2025 Nationals in two divisions - 1up and 2ups. The Weta is a 4.4m high-performance trimaran that has grown rapidly in numbers in Australia. We return to Speers Point in 2025, five years after the first major Weta regatta in Australia, which was the 2020 NSW States.
The Weta is a class of wide appeal. Sailors are from teens to eighty, male and female, one-up and two-up. Previous winners of state and national championships can be found in all of those groups. Information about Weta sailing can be found on The Australian Weta Class Association website.
