There are two Victorian sailors in the contingent of 51 Australians sailing the World Championships for the 10 Olympic classes from the Hague, Netherlands (10-20th August) - Casey Imeneo, the Victorian ILCA6 (Laser Radial) champion in the ILCA 6 women’s and Laura Harding in the 49erFX skiff.

This is the most important World sailing regatta in 2023, with 900 boats from over 90 countries in dinghy, sailboard and kite classes. They are vying to medal in the championships and qualify their country for the sailing events in the Paris 2024 Olympics. The Australian contingent is lead by Matt Wearn, the Men’s Laser gold medallist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Updates on the leadup and results for the Aussie sailors are on the Australian Sailing Team Facebook
