Instructors, Assistant instructors and Discover Sailing Centre Principles coming together to catch up, meet new people, learn new tools and receive an update on Australian Sailing programs.

Thank you to host venue for the Australian Sailing's annual Training in Focus event the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia, bringing together South Australian clubs for a day of learning and hands-on experience.

Off-water: Participants gained valuable insights into enhancing the quality of their programs to retain and grow participation at their centers.

On-water: Despite the challenging weather, the team shifted to Pacers and Powerboats for a productive 'Safety Boat' style day on the water. Under the guidance of Australian Sailing’s Chief Instructors Chris Goldacre and Craig Ferris, along with Senior Instructors Matt Young and Ian Leeson, attendees engaged in practical, on-water training to refine their skills.

It was an invaluable opportunity for local instructors to learn from these interstate experts and improve their teaching techniques. Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a success!
