Thompson Cup Oyster Bay, NY

Max Paul, Zac Quinlan and Thomas Needham continue their campaign competing in the Thompson Cup, hosted by Seawanhaka Corinthian YC in Oyster Bay USA.
Max writes, 'We wrapped up the Thompson Cup in 6th place. The last day didn’t go our way losing a few too many matches to finish one win away from the semi finals. It was still a pretty good effort from the team, given it was a Grade 1 event and that 8 of the 10 competitors were ranked inside the top 35 (Gavin Brady being the only one unranked! Just an America’s cup winner…)’.
The Thompson Cup was the 3rd event in the USA Grand Slam Grade 2 Match Race Series. The final event is the the Oakcliff International 5-9 September hosted by Oakcliff Sailing, Oyster Bay NY, USA.
