Communities, Sport & Recreation Tasmania currently have various funding opportunities available for sporting clubs.

Sport and Recreation Grants

• OPEN - Improving the Playing Field Grants Program
• OPEN - National / International Sport Championship Program
• OPEN - Sporting Competitions Access Fund

Note, Australian Sailing will apply for the National / International Sport Championships grant on behalf of all affiliated clubs hosting eligible events. Clubs hosting eligible events are asked to provide the below details to chris.jones@sailing.org.au

Event Details Required:

• Name of championship event
• National or international champions that will be declared (eg. Masters, Youth, Open)
• Start date
• End date
• Venue / Club
• States, territories or countries participating
• Anticipated number of competitors
• Age group of competitors

Although applications close 13^th May 2022, funding may be exhausted earlier. Therefore, AS will submit on behalf of all clubs as soon as reasonably practical.
