Yachting Western Austraia has recently obtained funding that allows Australian Sailing to partner with Healthway and present the SunSmart – Discover Sailing Activation.

We are pleased to announce another year of partnership with Healthway and look forward to engaging young people in sport, supporting Discover Sailing Centres and building SunSmart behaviours within sailing.

Discover Sailing Centres involved in the project in metro and regional WA will deliver the following programs:

The primary audience for the project are children and young people, aged 7 to 17 years.

Australia is the Skin Cancer capital of the world, with one in two people developing skin cancer before the age of 70. This partnership offers a range of opportunities to change behaviour and prevent skin cancer.

Australian Sailing WA looks forward to working with Discover Sailing Centres to build participation and accreditation, whilst promoting the SunSmart message to all involved.
