It was with great excitement that the inaugural South Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta (SAWKR) was launched in Melbourne last weekend, during the Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta. SAWKR will be held over three days, in the stunning waters of Gulf St Vincent hosted by the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia (CYCSA).
This Spring regatta is aimed at women currently participating in sailing, and looking to enjoy the company, competition, and camaraderie of other female sailors. This is a perfect time to get involved in a brand-new venture that is sure to become a welcome addition to your sailing calendar.

Logo Designer
The SAWKR logo represents our journey as women sailors traveling along the river and seas of Kaurna country and pays respect to the Kaurna custodians of this land.
Artist: Jardi Welch | Born: 1994, Adelaide, Kaurna Country ~ “I am a proud Kaurna, Narungga, Ngarrindjeri woman living and creating on Kaurna land.”
