The 2022 SheSails Conference webinar event was a blockbuster with over 250 participants dialling in from sailing clubs across Australia & New Zealand; breaking last year’s record to become the largest SheSails gathering to date!
The event, which coincides with World Sailing’s ‘Steering the Course’ Southern Hemisphere Festival, starred an impressive line-up of speakers who shared their insights on how they have steered their course and broken-down barriers.
Australian Sailing would like to thank Wendy Hall who took the helm as the conference facilitator and to all the following guest speakers:
- Sarah Ogilvie, Head of Sport Development & Growth at Australian Sailing
- Alistair Murray, AM Vice President of Australian Sailing
- Jessica Watson OAM, sailor & pioneer
- Nina Curtis, Olympian & Australia SailGP team member
- Freya, Lucy and Alexi from Lake Jindabyne Sailing Club in NSW, Australia
- Bronwynne Howse from Kohimarama Yacht Club, Auckland in New Zealand
- Lee Renfree from Queenscilff Cruising Yacht Club in VIC, Australia
