South Australian Club SheSails Representatives joined together on Thursday, 1st December at the Port Adelaide Sailing Club for what will become our annual gathering.

Thank you to Port Adelaide Sailing Club Commodore Kel Watson, and PASC SheSails Club Rep Barbara Beacham for hosting the event.
The best part about your local club is the volunteers. The Port Adelaide Sailing Club volunteers certainly put on a show with beautifully presented table settings and a fabulous meal and dessert to follow.

Australian Sailing’s Kylie Baker presented on the SheSails Network, SheSails Club Reps Roles and the importance of increasing female participation in our sport of sailing.

Australian Sailing Vice President Shevaun Bruland also joined us to share her SheSails Story and what sailing means to her as an active sailor and Australian Sailing Board Member.

We are thankful to have some amazing female leaders in the room with Louise Edwards from Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club sharing the fantastic programs on offer for female participation,  Helen Moody and Janet Thornley on the amazing Women on Water Female Sailing Program at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron and Brighton & Seacliff Commodore Lisa Brock on her own SheSails Story from Sailor to Race Officer to Club Commodore.  Thank up to all the presenters for sharing their experiences
