Sailing Safely in Tasmania

Australian Sailing Tasmania, has worked closely with MAST to develop a document to support sailing clubs to ensure that our sailors stay safe.
The Sailing Safely In Tasmania document gives yacht clubs around the state information about safety equipment for coach boats, navigation light requirements for coach boats and sailing dinghies, and the rights of piloted vessels and pilot-exempt vessels.
It also addresses protocols around berthing vessels, how to contact VTS and what information they require for all areas of the state. This is a document that provides all the necessary safety information for Tasmania in one file.
