SA Measurer Course - August

Australian Sailing will be delivering two measurement courses in South Australia coming in August; the courses will be delivered at Henley Sailing Club.
Measurers play an important role in sailing, ensuring equipment compliance, being responsible for the measurement of boats and as a source of technical knowledge.
This is an excellent opportunity to help your club and class associations.

The Measurer Seminar is aimed at educating Australian Sailing members in fundamental measurement, certification, and current measurement trends.
SA - Measurer - Sails & Spars Course – Free

The Measurer-Sails and Spars Seminar is aimed at training Australian Sailing members in the basics to conduct fundamental measurement and certification of sails and spars and equipment inspection at Club, State or National level competitions.
Course Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites for participation in this seminar.
However, attendance at the Australian Sailing Measurer Seminar is just one aspect of becoming a Measurer.

Who should do this course?
People with a keen interest in Sailing and its technical facets, such as equipment compliance, want to participate in another aspect of the sport. Those interested in becoming an Official Class Measurer include parents who may have limited experience with sailing and want to contribute to the sport, volunteers at yacht clubs and sailors who no longer actively participate in the sport.
COVID-19: Australian Sailing requires all participants in Australian Sailing run courses must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
