RQYS wins 2024 QLD Club of the Year 'Non-Gaming'

The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is celebrating today for taking out the title of 'Club of the Year, Non-Gaming' at the Clubs Queensland Keno & CQ Awards for Excellence 2024.
RQYS CEO Karen Baldwin, was super proud to accept the award on stage acknowledging previous category winners who credited their teams and Clubs longevity for their success.
"RQYS is incredibly proud to be entering our 140th year," Baldwin said, a testament to the the power of teamwork and dedication.
"We’re incredibly proud of all the goals we have set out and what we’ve achieved – without our members and our fabulous team behind us none of this would be possible."
RQYS entered two categories in 2024 - Best Sporting Club which we were awarded back in 2022 and Club of the Year Non-Gaming.
We would also liker to congratulate the other finalists Southport Yacht Squadron and Booroodabin Bowls Club.
This accolade adds to RQYS’s previous awards of:
- 2024 - Club of the Year Non-Gaming - Clubs Queensland
- 2023 - Marina of the Year - MIA (Marina Industry Awards)
- 2022 - Best Sports Club - Clubs Queensland
- 2022 - Club of the Year Non-Gaming - Clubs Queensland

- 2021 - Best Sports Club - Clubs Queensland
- 2016 - Club of the Year - Australian Sailing
