This is a good news story from Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) regarding its members - of whom we all should feel proud.

RQYS own board member, Curtis Skinner has brought together an enormous group of willing volunteers during this difficult period, which we all now realise could last for many months. RQYS great Squadron has extensive grounds - which need constant attention. As we all are aware, RQYS, along with most other clubs has been forced into stand downs of staff to ensure we survive this crisis, and recover at the end.

RQYS staff are being cared for under the JobKeeper and JobSeeker initiatives as best as possible. RQYS have therefore called on the efforts of its own membership - and have been overwhelmed by the response. There are too many to mention here, but when we include Canaipa grounds as well as Manly, we are grateful that we have such a united approach to this.
