Record 125 fleet headed to Port Lincoln

Published Fri 29 Nov 2019

The WA National 125 Association has never in its almost 40 year history sent so many teams across the Nullarbor.

13 boats and sailors from a range of Perth clubs as well as Geraldton and Esperance make up a team that shows how strong this Intermediate double handed dinghy class is in Western Australia....in fact it’s the largest double handed dinghy class in WA!

This effort is a great lead up to the 44th Australian Championships being hosted by Esperance Bay Yacht Club in December & January 2020/21, the second time the club has been host in the past 10 years.

The National 125 continues to be class of great diversity in weights, ages and is gender balanced with some regattas showing superior female numbers to males.
