Nominations have come in from the sailing community across Queensland to proudly acknowledge the people who give back to or are involved in the sport of sailing. These include, but are not limited to, Australian Sailing Team members, volunteers, sailors, administrators, professionals and promoters. It is important to show our appreciation to those who put in incredible hours to help their clubs in many ways and increase awareness of our great sport. It has been an incredible year for nominations in the volunteer of the year category and we are pleased to see so many have come from smaller volunteer run clubs. We can’t wait to announce the winners.

It’s time to celebrate this year’s deserving recipients in Queensland at a gala event on Thursday 26th September at Southport Yacht Club from 6:30pm.  The winners will be announced during the celebratory three course dinner. Everyone including finalists, families, and friends are invited to join us on the night for all the festivities.
