Australian Sailing are pleased to announce the return of the Instructor Conferences scheduled for May this year.

This year the Instructor Conferences will also include Sailing Coaches who will work with their peers to share advice and resources to support the sailing pathway beyond learn to sail.

South Queensland Instructor and Coach Conference

Dates: Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May 2022

Venue: Southport Yacht Club, Oxenford Watersports Facility

North Queensland Instructor and Coach Conference

Dates: Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2022

Venue: Townsville Yacht Club

The instructor conferences provide a great opportunity for professional development and networking to learn and share ideas amongst the Queensland Instructor networks.

Discover Sailing Centres are encouraged to ensure they are represented and ensure their Principals and Instructors are in attendance to learn the latest on the new resources available. 

Ultimately, the Instructor Conferences provide a great platform for sharing hints, tips and enthusiasm for getting more people involved in the great sport of sailing.
