Presentation, excursion wind up season for new-look sailing club

The Denmark Yacht Club celebrated a successful season at the Presentation Night held at Boston Brewery on Friday, March 26
Trophies were presented to Riley Jenkins – most improved, Denver Jenkins – junior trophy, Lachlan Ridden – Swarbrick patron’s consistency shield, Luke Buckovic – championship shield (Optimists), Henri Bellanger – championship shield (Mirrors), Reed Duggan – broken spar trophy. On Saturday, March 27 Denmark Yacht Club members finished the sailing season with an adventure sail from the River Mouth to Springdale Beach. The barbecue was set up on the beach and everyone enjoyed the sausage sizzle before sailing back to the River Mouth.
