OutThere Sailing in full swing this summer season
Published Tue 12 Jan 2021
OutThere Sailing is back in full swing this summer season with clubs across the country taking bookings for teens that are keen to hit the water during the school holidays.
Following lockdowns and time off the water, we are incredibly excited to provide a great way for teens to get outdoors and have fun.
Before Christmas AFL Legend Brendan “Fev” Fevola hit the water at Sandringham Yacht Club with his daughter as a part of Australian Sailing’s OutThere Sailing 'Bring a Friend' campaign. The radio host from popular Fox FM breakfast show Fifi, Fev & Byron enjoyed a day out with his daughter Lulu sailing on a yacht, having fun on a powerboat and trying to master stand up paddle boarding.
On the back of the Fox FM radio campaign ten clubs across Victoria are running the OutThere Sailing ‘Bring a Friend for Free’ program this summer holiday.
If you know any friends or family that have teenage children then this is a great a program to introduce teenagers who are 12 – 17 years old to sailing in a fun, sociable way.
The OutThere Sailing Experiences last for three hours run over a morning or afternoon and teenagers can get to experience sailing, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. To see where the OutThere Sailing is running near you click on this link.
