ORCV launches Safety at Sea Survival Course
Published Mon 13 May 2019
The Ocean Racing Club of Victoria is running Safety at Sea Survival and Weather Courses this winter.
The Safety at Sea Survival Course is available May 25 and 26.
The training events are open to anyone to join.
The Safety at Sea Survival Course aims to assist skippers and crew in developing awareness of responsibilities. It will discuss practical strategies for coping in an emergency and include a practical in-pool session, plus more.
For those just starting out, the course will run for two days. One day (May 26 only) is set aside for revalidation.
The Weather Courses, offering various modules in June, are designed for all levels of sailors, racers and cruising and how to observe and find the right advice.
