The 55th CHS combined secondary schools sailing championship was held at Belmont 16ft sailing club from 12th April to 14th April, 2022. The event is sponsored by Zhik. Day one of no wind saw racing cancelled but day two graced sailors with a constant 12-15 knot Southerly breeze. The event sees a mix of classes competing, including (but not limited to) O'pen skiffs, Laser Radial, 29er's, Flying 11, 13ft skiffs, Hobie's and Nacras.

Conditions suited the O'pen skiff class for race 3 on the 13th April, with the O'pen skiffs placing top 12 (of 42). In the final overall results O'pen skiff sailors, Addison Newlan placed 1st (series score 13.0) and Connor Radford 2nd (series score 22.0). O'pen skiff girls claimed the first 4 overall girls (out of 16), with Addison Newlan 1st girl overall, Emma Webb 2nd and Lily Klijn 3rd.
