The NTWR is designed to develop women’s sailing skills and to promote and increase awareness of women in sailing . This annual regatta assists female sailors to improve racing skills, leadership and decision-making and to challenge themselves to compete with like-minded women. We aim to create friendships and to ensure all competitors and volunteers sailing experiences at the Darwin Sailing Club are not only educational but fun and rewarding.

This is the 2nd Annual NT Women’s Regatta, with last year’s event being a huge success. 2021 NTWR includes Multihulls, and invites entries from across the NT and interstate to use our fleet of Elliott 7 keelboats, along with local entries from our Darwin fleet.

The NTWR is all about celebrating, promoting and encouraging women in sailing, providing this regatta as an opportunity for women and girls to build skill sets in a supportive community.
