Darwin Show Day weekend saw the 2021 NT Championships being hosted by Darwin Sailing Club.  There were a good number of off the beach boats on the water making for a fun weekend.  

Saturday started off slowly with light breezes that got progressively lighter and the first race was abandoned and boats towed in.  The afternoon however proved more fruitful with a good breeze and two races were finished.

Sunday saw a few more boats on the water with a full complement of Pacers although the Pico & Minnow fleets were down.  It was great to see such a good number of Lasers & Tasars take to the water.  Racing was postponed in the morning due to lack of wind with racing getting underway about lunch time.  4 races were delivered in what was no mean feat by the race committee on water with boats starting a finishing at the same time creating some chaos! There were also a few bigger boats on the water adding to the crowd.

It was a nice way to spend a weekend of racing and the weather was lovely despite the lack of morning breeze.  

Presentation was conducted at sunset with final results a bit muddled due to all the confusion on water. Final reviewed results are;
