Great to see the successful grant applications for the sailing community.

Congratulations to the 3 sailing organisations who were the recipients of the grant under Queensland Government’s Activate! Queensland 2019 – 2029 strategy. 

The initiative provides targeted funding to eligible organisations to help the sport and active recreation industry deliver new, upgraded and end of life infrastructure projects and works.

• Inclusive and Accessible: projects to support new and upgraded changerooms and amenities that meet universal design principles.
• Safe Quality and Efficient: projects to support new, upgraded and end-of-life field of play and ancillary facilities to meet activity requirements at a community level.

It will be good to see the funds being used to make a difference to the sporting community.
