The Lake Boga Yacht Club Regatta was first conducted in 1935 and has run almost every year since, it is renown as one of the largest and best run regattas in Victoria.
Lake Boga is approx 3 km x 3.5 km in size, and free of any obstructions, you are able to camp next to the yacht club in the grassed parkland, rig your yacht on the grassed foreshore near your camp and sail on a fresh water lake. Excellent facilities are provided.
The regatta runs for the 4 days over the Easter weekend. With racing commencing Friday afternoon, Saturday & Sunday morning and afternoon and Monday morning, concluding with a presentation of trophies to the winning sailors of the various divisions.
We separate the catamaran and mono hull fleets with individual courses at either end of the lake.
A canteen is open each day for lunches, and you can enjoy a fantastic wine tasting and dinner at the club on the Saturday evening.
