Australian Sailing would like to extend a warm welcome and introduce Niall Powers as our new General Manager NSW/ACT.

Niall brings an extensive knowledge of Discover Sailing Centre and sailing club operations, sailing event support, instructor and coach development, and growing membership through Club Participation Programs.

Niall is an experienced Senior Instructor and Coach, having worked with many sailing clubs and class associations in New South Wales. Most recently, Niall has been the Senior Head Instructor at Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club.

 In his own time, Niall is an active sailor, with racing experience across a range of dinghy, skiff, and one-design classes, as well as coastal and offshore yacht racing. 

 Please help us to make Niall feel welcome as he settles into his new role.

 Niall joins Craig Ferris and Jess Tames as our Club Support Officers for NSW/ACT.

The team are busy at the moment preparing to deliver the NSW/ACT Sailing Awards on Saturday 21^st September at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. If you would like to attend, tickets can be purchased online here.

The team will also be out and about at Zhik Youth Sail NSW from the 2^nd to 7^th October at Teralba Amateur Sailing Club. All junior and youth sailors are invited to attend and this years event will be boosted by a visit from our Paris Olympians. For more information and to register visit here.
