Interested in becoming a Dinghy Instructor?
Our next opportunity to become a qualified Dinghy Instructor in South Australia is coming up in September, the course will be delivered at the Largs Bay Sailing Club.
Prior to registering all participants must fulfil the following pre-requisites:
Course Prerequisites
- Be 16 years old and Water Confident
- Comply with the State/Territory legislation including, but not only, child protection laws (if applicable in that state)
- Hold the level of competence in the Program they wish to instruct
- Hold a current Applied First Aid Certificate
- Hold a current maritime licence, or state equivalent
- Hold an Australian Sailing Powerboat Handling Certificate
Prerequisite Learning
- Complete the Australian Sailing Instructor General Principles - online learning course

This course is for anyone looking to become a Dinghy Instructor and instruct the Dinghy program at an accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
