Have your say - Sydney Working Harbour Study Questionnaire

Published Fri 30 Nov 2018

Transport for NSW and Port Authority of NSW have commenced a study to better understand the growth and future requirements of Sydney’s Working Harbour functions, including for commercial and social uses.

The Sydney Working Harbour Study will collate a preliminary evidence base (information and data) to support ongoing planning for the landside and on-water needs of key working harbour functions. It will explore three key areas:

  • Function and economic contribution
  • Growth and trends
  • Opportunities and constraints

Questionnaire

There are two questionnaires:

A questionnaire designed for businesses, sole traders, large clubs and marinas:

www.woolcott.com.au/HarbourB.html

And a questionnaire designed for recreational, heritage and volunteers clubs or groups:

www.woolcott.com.au/HarbourC.html

The questionnaires are open until 14 December, with the Study expected to be finalised in early 2019. While this questionnaire can be anonymous, providing your organisation’s details allows us to contact you for further comment and feedback.

The questionnaire is not required/intended to be filled out by multiple people within your organisation. Information collected is strictly confidential and will be summarised and aggregated for the purposes of the Study only. Ultimately, the Study will use this information to undertake a preliminary economic assessment, identify areas where further work or information is needed, and will provide a better understanding of future requirements and considerations.

Please find attached a Fact Sheet providing further information on the Study. If you have any questions or wish to understand more about the Study please email the team at sydneyworkingharbour@transport.nsw.gov.au

Thank you for your participation in the development of this important piece of work.
