The Discover Sailing ''Have a Go'' campaign Marketing Toolkit is now available for clubs to utilise to engage with their local community during the Games and beyond.

Australian Sailing have developed the following Marketing Resources for your club:

• Social media post frame template: your club can insert in their own relevant image to post on your club social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram.

• Program Promotional videos: clubs who are accredited Discover Sailing Centres and offer any of the Australian Sailing programs can download their relevant program promotional video to use on their club's or centre's social media and feature on their website or on in-venue screens. Below is a preview of the new generic Discover Sailing promotional video:

Australian Sailing Marketing Support

Along with clubs encouraging new participants to Have a Go, Australian Sailing will be providing the following marketing support to drive interest in club sailing during the Olympics and beyond:

• A targeted national social media campaign using the new Discover Sailing program videos to drive interested participants to the Discover Sailing home page
• Updating the Discover Sailing webpage to make the user experience better, especially via mobile devices and aimed at non-sailors. We are expecting the new-look page to launch later this week.
   

What can clubs do?

Discover Sailing Courses
If your club is a Discover Sailing Centre then make sure you have courses set up in revSPORT ready for new participants to register.

Does your club have information ready and available?

1. Info flyers on how to get involved in sailing.
2. Info flyers on club membership and participation options.
3. Place these in an easy identifiable location.
4. Have staff and volunteers brief interested attendees on where this information is and assist to promote.
