Dear Victorian Sailing Sailing Clubs,
I’m writing to let you know that I’ve resigned from my role as General Manager of Australian Sailing, effective April 15, 2025. This decision comes with mixed emotions, as sailing—a sport I’m deeply passionate about—has been a defining part of my life for many years.
Over the past four years as General Manager of Australian Sailing Victoria, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with many of you. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve treasured the chance to contribute to this vibrant community that means so much to me. Sailing has always been more than a job—it’s a lifelong passion that has shaped who I am. As I look ahead, I’m excited to continue my career in sport as the Executive Officer of a State Sporting Organisation here in Victoria.
To ensure a smooth transition, I’m fully committed to supporting you in any way I can between now and April 15, 2025. In the interim, Meg Goodfellow and Alexandra Starkova, based in our Victorian office, will be your key contacts until a new General Manager is appointed. They’re ready to assist with any needs you may have:
