Are you sharing this information with your Sailing Committee and Community?
A lot has happened in the last two months in Tassie with many AS courses being held and attended by enthusiastic participants. Thank you to everyone who has gained a new qualification and for supporting the courses being organised. We still have a few courses to go; Dinghy, Race Officer, Coaches, Keelboat Instructor. The links can be found below in this Update.
I would like to congratulate and thank the 2024/25 TAS Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) members who were elected to represent their sailing club and community. Each RAC Member has been allocated several sailing clubs that they will be in contact with and supporting. Communication and positive relationships are what Australian Sailing TAS is focused on to ensure that all clubs have the opportunity to contribute to ideas about sailing in Tasmania.

Child Safe Practices
The Children and Young People Safe Practices exist to identify and prevent behaviour that may be harmful to children and young people participating in sport. The Practices are defined in our Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy, so compliance with them is compulsory (as well as being a vital step in protecting children in sailing).
Here are two articles that will support your club and sailors to ensure that they are safe at all times.
