South Australian Sailing Awards were hosted by the Adelaide Sailing Club in Friday 20th September. A fantastic night with 100 people in attendance.

2024 ZHIK YOUTH SAIL SA – A Huge Success to start the season
Thank you to the participants, supporters and volunteers for bring this event together.
It was a early start to the season with the event moved from November to September to become a 4 day event including a coaching clinic and youth championship.
Thank you to the Largs Bay Sailing for hosting the event and commodore Matthew Carter for putting together an amazing team with collaboration from Adelaide Sailing Club with PRO Malcolm Hughes and Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club Green RO Lisa Brock and Green Fleet Lead Instructor Brett Yardley as well as many others.

Marine Safety is developing the first ever South Australian Recreational Boating Safety Strategy. The strategy is a 5-year plan that focuses on improving safety for recreational boaters and others who share our state's coastal and inland waters.

Game Plan for Clubs
For Clubs who have already completed the Participation Workshop with Alison or Grant, Game Plan is the next step for review. It is a self-assessment tool for clubs and class associations to review all aspects of your organisation and provide an improvement plan with links to resources and templates.
Game Plan is provided in partnership with the Australian Sports Commission. It is neatly set out in areas so that one person doesn’t have to complete the whole program and each module is only 15 minutes. Start today: https://www.sportaus.gov.au/club-development/for-clubs
