Australian Sailing SA Sailing Summit – Sunday 30^th April

We are excited to announce the 2023 South Australian Sailing Summit on Sunday 30^th April at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron.

The 2023 Sailing Summits will provide a great opportunity for clubs and classes to share information and ideas, allow Australian Sailing to hear directly from the community via workshops following on from the Club Survey and to receive an update on hot topics and the Australian Sailing strategic priorities

CLUB SURVEY – Open now and CLOSES Sunday 2^nd April

Australian Sailing has just released our 2023 Club Survey. This is your club’s opportunity to provide feedback on your use of Australian Sailing’s programs, services, and support.

We request only one response from each club, please ensure you consult with your club committee and respond accordingly.

The survey has 11 questions and should take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete. Individual responses to the survey will remain confidential.

The survey will be open until 5 pm AEST SUNDAY 2nd APRIL.

TRAINING IN FOCUS ‘LIVE’ – Sunday 24^th September at Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia

The 2023 Training in Focus - Live events (Replacing Instructor Conference) will provide a great opportunity for Instructors, Discover Sailing Centre Principles and Training administrators to receive hands-on learning via workshops, practical on water activities, the opportunity to try a new discipline such as windsurfing, SUPs or Foiling and of course, plenty of time to share ideas and best practice amongst peers.

Accredited Instructors who attend the Training in Focus – Live events this year, will automatically have their qualifications extended for a further 12 months, assisting to further removing the barriers to reaccreditation.

The Australian Sailing myLearning portal has a catalogue of free and useful online courses created by Australian Sailing and Play By The Rules that could benefit clubs, members, volunteers, administrators, and instructors.

A great course for your safety boat drivers is Mark Laying Course and if you prefer to be on shore the Protest Committee Member – Judge Level 1.
