NT SAILING SUMMIT
Previously the NT Club Conference scheduled for Saturday 11 March 2023. It’s a fantastic way to learn what changes have happened throughout Australian Sailing and the other NT clubs. It’s also a great way to educate new committee members to better understand our sports structure and how the stakeholders can help.

2023 CLUB SURVEY
Australian Sailing has just released our 2023 Club Survey. This is your club’s opportunity to provide feedback on your use of Australian Sailing’s programs, services and support. We request only one response from each club so please ensure you consult with your club committee and respond accordingly.
The survey has 11 questions and should take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete. Individual responses to the survey will remain confidential.
The survey will be open until 5pm AEST SUNDAY 2nd APRIL.

GRANTS
Grass Roots Grants
Administered by Sport & Rec this program aims to increase participation in sport and active recreation. Grants up to $5,000 are available. Closes March 16. More information HERE
School Sports Vouchers
Round 1 voucher are now available. If your club is a registered provider don’t forget to remind your members to apply for and use their vouchers to register for your sport.
General Grant Program – OEGD
Funding is available to eligible individuals, organisations or community groups for a project, service or activity that promotes gender equality in the Northern Territory. If you would like to undertake a project, service or activity which addresses intersectional gender-based inequalities you can apply for a general grant of up to $5,000. Closes March 31. NT Men's Places Grants Program
Men’s Places Grants of up to $10,000 per applicant, to support a range of activities such as information sessions, skills development, health and wellbeing programs, education, and peer to peer support programs, parenting programs, and equipment. Closes March 31. More information HERE
BIG BOAT SERIES
The first race of the Big Boat Series (WSS R1) was conducted by DBCYA in November. The next race will be WSS R9 on 26 March 2023. Further details on races included in the Big Boat Series can be found on the Australian Sailing website HERE.

- Help promote this series at your club and get more big boats back on the water in 2023.
