YOUTH SAIL QLD

In September, the NT sent a contingent to Yeppoon, QLD - 10 youth sailors and 1 coach. The event kicked off with a three-day coaching clinic led by Australian Sailing’s top-tier coaches where our young sailors had the opportunity to meet and learn from Australian Olympians & Olympic coaches, an inspiring experience that heightened the excitement ahead of the regatta.

Following the clinic, the team put their skills to the test in the regatta, featuring a variety of classes and divisions. Yeppoon's breezy weather created ideal sailing conditions, and our NT sailors rose to the occasion, taking home several podium finishes.
