NSW/ACT Event Calendar
We have refreshed the 2024 event calendar and are constantly adding new events. If you would like to add your major events to the calendar, it helps sailors find your events and other clubs and Australian Sailing plan their events. The calendar can be found here
Action Item for Clubs: Add your events to the calendar, if your club doesn’t have the link to edit the calendar, please email Jess.tames@sailing.org.au
EVENTS to look out for:
April 5 - 7: Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club (NCYC) is hosting the prestigious Australian Yachting Championships in conjunction with the national sailing body, Australian Sailing. It will be embedded into the fast-growing SailFest Newcastle Regatta which was relaunched in 2019 but has a proud heritage dating back to 1845.
March 29 - April 1: Middle Harbour Yacht Club is hosting an Inclusive Classes Regatta. The Regatta program includes arrival, training and classification on the Friday followed by three races each day on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday. An Inclusive Sailing Forum will also be held on the Sunday evening. In addition, the regatta will be the inaugural NSW Para Sailing Championships. Results of eligible para sailors will be extracted from the open fleet results.
