Sailing Awards

•    State Finalists announced:  15th August and 
•    State Winners announced: 16th September 
•    National Finalists announced: Monday 2 October 
•    National Winners announced: Friday 4 November

Lake Mac NSW Youth Sail 2023

Lake Mac NSW Youth Sail is a three day coaching clinic and a three day regatta. This year the event moves to the northern part of Lake Macquarie and we are very pleased to announce a change of name with the Lake Macquarie City Council coming onboard as major sponsor of this event. Teralba Amateur Sailing Club will host the event, with Speers Point ASC, Toronto ASC and Wangi ASC partnering with Australian Sailing to run the racing.

New Race Officer Training Program

We are pleased to announce the release of new Race Officer training for club and class volunteers. The entry level training is now via free online courses for Mark Layers and Committee and Finish boat volunteers.

To access AS free e-learning courses, simple register and login via the learning portal here.

Her Sport Her Way Grant

Encourage your female members to use the Her Sport Her Way Grant discount for instructor, coach, and official courses to receive a 50% Discount on course fees. Code is HERSPORT50

Discover Sailing Month

Discover Sailing Day has been a mainstay of the sailing calendar for many years. This year Australian Sailing will be promoting Discover Sailing Days throughout November.

Updating Club Contacts

Not Receiving Official AS Communications? 

When Flag Officers change roles your club account details need to be updated, without key contact details, Australian Sailing cannot contact the right people.
