Major Regattas in NSW

After two summers affected by COVID, it has been great to have so many classes run their nationals at NSW clubs over the Christmas break. Jess has rounded up some of the coverage here

RevSPORT Training for Clubs and Classes

We will be running monthly revSPORT training sessions online. We will go through a few basic topics as well as having plenty of time for questions. If you have a lot of committee members or staff that need to learn how to use revSPORT we can come to you.

Modernising Instructing and Coaching

All clubs that deliver learn to sail or training programs, even if they are not Discover Sailing Centres, are invited to guide the way as we modernise sailing coaching and instructing. Coaching, instructing, and officiating are fundamental to the delivery of sailing and Australian Sailing is presently exploring how we develop the coach and instructor workforce.

We have developed a survey so we can learn more about the relevance and impact of current instructor and coach courses, their delivery and assessment, costings and updating/reaccreditation processes, barriers, challenges, and more. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes, is anonymous, and will guide the future of coaching and instructing sailing in Australia.
