Moreton Bay will play host to hundreds of sailors this week when Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) and Australian Sailing co-host one of Australia’s premier Olympic and Invited class regattas, Sail Brisbane.

Set to take place from Tuesday 17 to Saturday 21 December at RQYS, the regatta will see more than 230 sailors from around Australia and beyond compete for titles across a diverse range of exciting classes, with sailors as young as seven set to share a boat park with Olympians throughout the week.

An integral event on the Australian Sailing calendar, Sail Brisbane is critical to the growth and success of junior and youth sailors, allowing the next generation to sail against their heroes.

What is Sail Brisbane?

Sail Brisbane is one of Australia’s premier Olympic and invited class regattas. Set to host more than 230 sailors in a diverse range of sailors in various classes, ensuring a thrilling experience for both participants and spectators, the event is run in December each year.
