Finally Married

Published Thu 13 Jun 2019

After several years of being pipped at the post and unlucky in their Siska quest, the bridesmaid is finally hitched.

Alan Stein and the crew of ‘Dirty Deeds’ have certainly had a rollercoaster ride through the last few seasons, this year they had their sights set on taking out the six-race season.

Finishing with three firsts, two fourths and a fifth, the GP42 surfed and boogied her way to Siska Trophy glory. Ian Clyne and ‘Joss’ took home second place with an unfortunate DNF in the first race back in October 2018. Paul Arns ‘Obsession’ rounds out the top three, one point ahead of John Rayner and ‘Al Fresco’.

Offshore WA night of nights kicks off at South of Perth Yacht Club this Saturday evening where the 1976 AC/DC hit will be sung loud and proud. Congratulations to the team and all the boats that ventured into the big blue.
