F18 Sailors at the Australian Championship

2025 Australian F18 Catamaran Nationals to be held 21-26 January, hosted by Frankston Yacht Club (FYC).
Wild winds and conditions tested all sailors on Port Phillip Bay. Day 4 brought some light shifty offshore breeze that we hadn’t seen yet this regatta. In race 1, the wind gods were favourable for many, and the fleet learnt more about the conditions sailing on Port Phillip Bay. As the days continued conditions deteriorated, seeing boats and crews suffer and limb to shore. A big learning curve for many before the Worlds in Perth.
