Westernport Yacht Club is pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural Western Port Masters Regatta to be held on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October 2019. 

This event aims to:
• Encourage the maintenance of active and healthy lifestyles for people around Western Port who are in the second half of their lives.
• Encourage more experienced sailors to introduce the sport of sailing to a younger generation

Who can participate?
The two-day event involving multi-class fleet racing, will also incorporate a specific race on Saturday afternoon that will be open to multi-handed boats with a skipper aged 40 years and over and a crew member less than 16 years and representing different generations of one family. 

Early bird entry discounts are available up to 16th September 2019

A dinner will also be held on the Saturday evening open to sailors, their families and Westernport Yacht club members and friends. 
This regatta will not only provide opportunities for fitness, fun and social inclusion across generations, but will encourage younger family members to become more active in all levels of club life.

Prizes and trophies will be awarded for each of the following categories:
Masters (40 – 54 years)
Grand Masters (55 – 64 years)
Great Grand Masters (65 years and over)
Intergenerational family
Individual divisions
