Ensure your Instructor/Coach qualification is active and current
Published Mon 15 Nov 2021
After registering a total course participation increase of 7% last financial year and with COVID-19 restrictions easing across the Country, we expect another busy summer season for our Centres, Instructors and Coaches. So, it is critical that you ensure that your Australian Sailing Instructor and/or Sailing Coach qualification is active and current to enable you to coach or run Australian Sailing courses at your Discover Sailing Centre or Safety & Sea Survival Centre.
What to check:
- Your qualification must be current: log into mySailor and check your qualification expiry date under Qualification Details. If expired or about to expired, you need to register for a reaccreditation course HERE.
- Your qualification pre-requisites must be current: log into mySailor and check your qualification pre-requisite expiry date(s) under Qualification Details. If they are expired or missing you need to revalidate them and submit the new updated qualification document to Australian Sailing via THIS page.
- Your yearly renewal fee must not be outstanding: in mySailor under Payment History there should not be any outstanding renewal fee invoice(s). If there are click on Pay and choose one of the available payment methods.
Finally, if you want to make yourself contactable through our online system tick the Receive public enquiries checkbox in mySailor under My Qualifications>Alerts. This will allow potential Centres needing an Instructor or a Coach to engage with you. Note your contact details won’t be disclosed.
