Are you a current youth dinghy sailor and are interested in trying keelboat sailing?

To assist with the ongoing development of your sailing skills, its a great idea to trial many types of boats and classes throughout your sailing journey, each different class will give you new skills that will advance your sailing knowledge and can be applied to your own regular class.

The CYCSA Youth Sailing Foundation School Holiday Squad provides an ideal introduction to keelboat sailing for sallors aged 13-18. You don’t need to be a members of the CYCSA as young sailors from any local club are encouraged to attend, and the opportunity will compliment your existing class sailing.

The School Holiday squads are held four times a year during school term break, and are an excellent compliment to your summer sailing program in your regular class. The first opportunity is coming up in the Easter holidays!

Each course is four days in length and utilises the CYCSA YSF’s brand new fleet of Elliott 7m keelboats, and will be crewed by 4-5 sailors with an instructor on-board.
