Convict Bay Regatta

Convicts arrived in Australia with a miss mash of belongings and trinkets. The Shelley Sailing Club is hosting their annual Convict Bay Regatta next Sunday, February 23, with a likewise miss mash of yachts, let alone the yachties. The Club is situated at the top of the Canning River with a family focused clubhouse and compact race courses which ensure excellent view from the banks of the Canning River.
Everything from Herons, Mudlarks, Minnows, Lasers, Scow Moths and Catamarans will hit the course for racing from 10am. The club invites all sailors to compete at this unique and challenging event. The event is designed for families with skippers able to rotate crew during the four-race regatta to promote inclusivity and involvement in our sport.
Presentations is followed swiftly by Pizzas to warm the soul and kick off the tales long into the night.
