With the support of the Queensland Government Australian Sailing is pleased to be able to offer some more extensive coach mentoring opportunities between now and the end of June 2022.

This will include, at a minimum:

• A visit to your club by an Australian Sailing Club Services Officer to discuss your current club coaching activities, pathways and opportunities.
• A visit to your club by a mentor coach to provide assistance and advice to your committee members and coaches on structuring a coaching program, developing potential club coaches and enhancing their coaching sessions.
• A number of online information and discussion forums to share information, resources and learnings from the program.

This is an opportunity for all clubs and coaches. You do not need to be a qualified Australian Sailing Coach or your club have a qualified coach to express your interest, however this will obviously be a topic for discussion and a recommendation made to become and use qualified coaches.

The program is open to both keelboat and dinghy clubs so if you are interested in this program to please register your Expression of Interest by the 31st October 2021
