Australian Sailing welcomes Suzanne Davies to the board

Australian Sailing is pleased to announce the appointment of Suzanne Davies as an interim appointment to the board.
Davies brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of sailing clubs, having spent 12 years as General Manager of The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) and more recently was CEO of d’Albora Marinas.
Suzanne has actively contributed to wider industry initiatives, actively participating in several Australian Sailing conferences and workshops. In 2012 Suzanne was a part of a working group that established the Australian Yacht & Boat Club Managers Group, which provides a forum for sailing club managers to share information, best practice and importantly how to promote and grow our sport.
“The Board of Australian Sailing are pleased to have Suzanne Davies join as an interim member of our Board. Suzanne is a highly experienced and respected sailing industry leader, and brings with her an intimate knowledge of how our clubs and how they operate.” said President of Australian Sailing, Matt Allen AM.
Davies will commence her interim role on the board with immediate effect. The posting will continue until the 2019 Australian Sailing AGM, which will take place at 10am on Saturday 19 October 2019 at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.
