Australian Sailing is moving our Northern Territory office from the current location at the JAPE Homemaker Centre to the Darwin

Published Sun 12 Jul 2020

While there was some initial value in being located near other sporting organisations and close to the office of NT Dept of Sport and Recreation, Australian Sailing sees real benefits to co-locating at a central sailing venue as has been proven by co-locating at sailing clubs in other states and territories. By relocating the office to a more visible and accessible location within our NT sailing community, Australian Sailing hopes to be in a better position to connect with and communicate more directly with members from all Northern Territory sailing clubs.

We will continue to work with Richard Wiltshire and the YNT Board to liaise closely with the NT Dept of Sport and Recreation concerning their important support for our sport.

Our newly relocated Australian Sailing office will run independently of Darwin Sailing Club. A visible presence with clear signage and lines of communication will allow all our NT sailing clubs and organisations easy access to our representative, Claire Hall.

Claire Hall, the NT Club Services Officer, will continue to be available to all NT sailing organisations and can continue to be contacted on Claire.hall@sailing.org.au or 0467 307 234.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this move in office space, please contact me directly.
